Chalean Extreme Day 6 – Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day to all my Canuck peeps!

This isn’t going to be a long entry as I have stuff to do… just wanted to say that yup, I finished my first week of Chalene Extreme.  Overall, I think it’s ok.  Definitely easier on the body than Tony or Shaun’s stuff which means starting Saturday I have to really start on grease-the-groove again plus push-ups.

As for today’s routine… I got a good sweat on for the first part (Burn It Off!) but wasn’t really feeling the second part (Recharge).  Felt like Chalene’s stretch routine is… somewhat half hearted.  I love the fact that it’s only 20 minutes but it pales in comparison to Yoga X or Stretch X with regards to ‘intensity’.  I dunno… I will probably swap it out for ARX or Cardio Abs instead because as it stands right now there is only 1 core routine per week for CExtreme and I honestly don’t think that’s enough.  Maybe it’s because P90x got me used to doing ARX 3 times a week… but yeah, I feel like I need a little more.

Tomorrow is the second offiicial rest day of the week and I think I will take the liberty of actually resting.

Nutrition today was good: 1848 or thereabouts.
